In this article, you will learn how to ensure that you have the correct permissions in Exact Online to be able to integrate.
Determine which components the integration requires. For example, if you create Sales Entry, you will need these permissions. Additionally, you will need permissions for customers.
Sales Entry: ledger accounts and journals, bookings, VAT rates, sales bookings, customers.
Sales Invoices: ledger accounts and journals, bookings, VAT rates, sales invoices, items, customers.
Sales Orders: ledger accounts and journals, bookings, VAT rates, sales orders, items, customers.
Reconciliation: ledger accounts and journals, bookings, customers.
Setting up Permissions
1. Go to "My Exact Online" in Exact Online on the top right.
2. Click on "Permissions" in the menu.
3. Select the correct tab (see screenshot below) and choose the appropriate permissions. Don't forget to save.

-> Master Data > Manage Financial Master Data + View Financial Master Data + Manage
Periods
Sales Orders
-> Sales > Sales Order > Enter Sales Orders + Process Sales Orders
Sales Entry
-> Financial > Financial Bookings > Enter, Edit, and Delete Sales Bookings + Process and Reopen Bookings + Import Bookings
Sales Invoices
-> Sales > Sales Invoice > Enter Sales Invoices + Process and Print
Items
-> General > Master Data > Manage Items + View Item Data
Receivables
-> Financial > Bank > Import Bank Statements + Enter, Edit, and Delete Bank Bookings + Define Bank Connections + Export Payment Instructions + Select Payments
Customers
-> Financial > Relationships > Manage Relationships + View Relationships + Validate Relationship
