Sales Booking in the Accounting Software:

  • Used to record revenue in the accounting software, essential for accurate VAT return submissions.

  • A debtor is created, and a sales booking is recorded under this debtor.

  • No specific items are required in the accounting software for this booking.

Sales Invoice or Sales Order in the Accounting Software:

  • An alternative method for creating an invoice or order in the accounting software.

  • Useful if further processing of the invoice or order is desired within the accounting software.

  • Requires specific items to be present in the accounting software.

    • Ensure item codes in the source platform match those in the accounting software.

    • Specify in the integration whether to synchronize items to the accounting software.

Note: If you use Shopify, we recommend sending invoices via the Sufio app.

Inventory Management:

  • Stock levels for items are updated based on orders.

  • The ordering platform acts as the leading system in this synchronization.

  • Important: No inventory synchronization occurs from the accounting software back to the source platform.
