During setup of a Combidesk integration with Moneybird, the financial account dropdown can be empty. This article explains why and how to solve it in one minute.
What's going on?
When setting up a Combidesk integration with Moneybird (e.g. Shopify, Stripe, Mollie, PayPal, Pay. or Rabo Smart Pay) for reconciliation purposes, you'll reach the step "Select financial account". Here you pick the Moneybird account where transactions should be booked.
Important: Moneybird bank accounts cannot be used for this and are therefore excluded from the list. If you only have bank accounts in Moneybird, the dropdown will appear empty.
Solution: create a PSP account in Moneybird
Fix this by creating a Payment Service Provider (PSP) account in Moneybird. It takes less than a minute.
Step-by-step
Log in to Moneybird.
Go to Settings > Bank.
Click Add in the top-right.
At the bottom, choose Account without connection > Payment Service Provider.
Enter a recognisable name (e.g. "Shopify Payments" or the name of your PSP) and your username.
Click Save.
Next
Return to your Combidesk integration setup, click 'Refresh data' in the step, and select the PSP account you just created from the dropdown. Then continue with the remaining setup steps.
