Installation manual for the DISH Exact Online integration

1. Connect to DISH

To connect to DISH, you need a Client ID. This is provided by Eijsink and can be entered when setting up the connection in Combidesk.


2. Connect to Exact Online

To start connecting to Exact Online, click the "Connect your.." button:

Exact Online uses different country codes. When connecting, select the correct country code and click "Save":

This takes you to Exact Online's login screen. First enter your username (Gebruikersnaam), and your password (Wachtwoord) on the next:

To connect properly to Exact Online, it must be configured correctly. Do this before continuing with the integration configuration. The button below will take you to a collection of articles explaining how to set up Exact Online.


3. Configuration of the integration

For the integration to work properly, it must be configured correctly. In the paragraph below, we'll go through all the steps of the integration in sequence. Before starting the installation, we recommend that you first carefully read through these steps.


Configure these DISH steps:

  • Select store(s)
    Select the store(s) for which the tickets should be transferred. If no store is selected, all stores will be transferred.

  • Starting point transfer
    Either enter the marker or the order number of the ticket that is the starting point of the transfer

  • Include invoice tickets in cash booking
    Should invoices on account be included in the daily cash bookings?

  • Payment methods to exclude
    Select the payment method(s) for which tickets should not be processed.

  • Enable transfer of tips
    Should the tips be transferred to Exact Online?

  • Sync transfer invoices on account
    Should invoices on account be transferred?

  • Group orderlines
    Should orderlines of tickets on invoice be grouped?


Configure these Exact Online steps:

  • Select Exact Online administration
    The administration the entries will be booked in

  • Select journal
    Select the cash journal in which the entries should be booked

  • Exact Online VAT mapping
    Connect the VAT categories of DISH to your Exact Online account

  • Exact Online ledger account mapping
    Connect the turnover groups of DISH to the ledger accounts of your Exact Online account

  • Map the payment methods
    Map the payment methods on ledger accounts

  • Select default ledger account
    Select the default ledger account to be used

  • Select journal
    Select the journal in which the sales entries should be booked

  • Select default payment method ledger account
    Select the default ledger account to be used for the payment method

  • Cost center mapping
    Map the DISH sales points on the cost centers of your Exact Online account

  • Default costcenter
    Select the default costcenter to be used

  • Recycling deposit item ledger account
    Select the ledger account to book the recycling deposit item on

  • Tip ledger account
    Select the ledger account to book the tips on

  • Order insertion type
    Specify how the orders should be inserted into Exact Online.

    Choose 'Yes' at the 'Create items' step when you choose 'Sales invoice' or 'Sales order' and don't manage items in Exact Online.

    If you choose 'Direct sales invoice', you might require the Plus, Professional, or Premium edition of Exact Online.

  • Order date on orderline
    Do you want to add the order date in the order line notes?

  • Create items
    Indicate if you want to create items in Exact Online if they don't exist. Only articles used in an order will be created. Articles in DISH should have article codes.

  • Default debtor
    If you want to book your orders on a default debtor, enter the code of that default debtor here

  • Order remarks on orderline
    Do you want to add the order remarks in the order line notes?

  • Recycling deposit item
    Enter the article code of the item to book the recycling deposit on


4. The Combidesk customer dashboard

How does the dashboard work?

If you've created a new Combidesk account or installed a integration, you'll receive an email with access to your Combidesk account. When you log in to combidesk.com, you'll arrive at the dashboard. This is where your integration is located. From here, you can easily adjust your integration and account settings, view the integration logs (history), and access support.

What can you view via your Combidesk account?

From your Combidesk dashboard you also have access to your account settings, connected accounts, billing and support.


5. What can you expect from Combidesk?

We understand you're busy or perhaps have little software experience. That's why our specialized team is always ready to help. Take advantage of our installation packages to save yourself even more time.

Installation appointment

If you're short on time or would like us to handle the entire installation, take advantage of our remote implementation support. We'll take care of everything for you right away and deliver a fully functional connection. For most connections, installation support costs a fixed fee of €150, while others cost €300. Explanation of service level (SLA) subscriptions (Basic, Pro, Premium)

To help you use our integration effectively, we offer three service levels: basic, pro, and premium. You can always change the service level in your integration. The price will be adjusted for the next billing period.
