Connect Moneybird with Twinfield and automate your financial administration. Invoices and contacts are automatically synchronized between both systems.
1. Connect to Moneybird
To connect to Moneybird, click the "Connect your.." button:
If you're not logged on to Moneybird, you'll see this login screen:
After logging in with a user account with sufficient rights, you will see the screen where you can give the app access to your administration:
Here, select the relevant administration and click "Toestaan." Combidesk will now have access to the data in your administration via the Moneybird API.
2. Connect to Twinfield
What do you need? Before you start, make sure you have:
An active Twinfield subscription through Wolters Kluwer
Your Wolters Kluwer login credentials (email address and password)
Access to the administration(s) you want to connect
Don't have a Twinfield account yet? Request one at wolterskluwer.com.
Step by step: setting up the OAuth connection
Step 1: Start the installation
Go to the integration's installation page and click "Start connecting". You will be redirected to the Wolters Kluwer authorization portal.
Step 2: Log in with your Wolters Kluwer account
Enter the email address and password of your Wolters Kluwer account. This is the same account you normally use to log in to Twinfield.
Step 3: Grant permission
After logging in, you will see a screen asking whether you want to give the integration access to your Twinfield data. Click "Allow" to confirm the connection.
Step 4: Select the correct administration Do you have multiple administrations within Twinfield? Select the administration you want to connect. Want to connect multiple administrations? Simply repeat the process for each administration separately.
Step 5: Done!
You are now successfully connected. The integration will automatically sync your data between your webshop and Twinfield from this point on.
Frequently asked questions
My login credentials don't work — what now?
Check that you are using the email address and password of your Wolters Kluwer account, and not those of a possible old Twinfield account. Forgotten your password? Reset it via the Wolters Kluwer login portal.
How long is the connection valid?
The OAuth connection remains active as long as you use the integration. You do not need to repeat this process periodically, unless you change your password or manually disconnect.
Can I disconnect later?
Yes. You can revoke access at any time via your Twinfield account settings under Connected applications, or by removing the integration from our platform.
I have multiple administrations — can I connect them all?
Yes, our integration supports multiple administrations. Simply install the integration for each desired administration separately.

For the integration to work properly, it must be configured correctly. In the paragraph below, we'll go through all the steps of the integration in sequence. Before starting the installation, we recommend that you first carefully read through these steps.

4. The Combidesk customer dashboard
How does the dashboard work?
If you've created a new Combidesk account or installed a integration, you'll receive an email with access to your Combidesk account. When you log in to combidesk.com, you'll arrive at the dashboard. This is where your integration is located. From here, you can easily adjust your integration and account settings, view the integration logs (history), and access support.
What can you view via your Combidesk account?
From your Combidesk dashboard you also have access to your account settings, connected accounts, billing and support.

To help you use our integration effectively, we offer three service levels: basic, pro, and premium. You can always change the service level in your integration. The price will be adjusted for the next billing period.
6. FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
How often are the data synchronized?
This integration synchronizes automatically every 60 minutes by default. You don't have to do anything for it to happen. If a synchronization fails, the integration will attempt to sync again in the next run. If the issues persist, you will be notified by email.
Which permissions do I need to have in Moneybird and Twinfield?
In Moneybird, you need to have Owner permissions, and in Twinfield, you need to have multiple permissions. You need access to Sales Bookings and Customers, among others. Please refer to our knowledge base for more information.
Can I use multiple general ledger accounts?
Certainly, that's possible! If you have assigned ledger codes to the categories in Moneybird and the corresponding general ledger accounts exist in Twinfield, you can configure the integration to prioritize the ledger accounts from Moneybird.
How does it work with a bank integration?
Because the integration in Twinfield creates an open sales booking, the corresponding bank payment should be "matched" against it. Therefore, we recommend installing the bank integration in Twinfield as well.
Can I synchronize sales to Twinfield and purchases from Twinfield in both directions?
No, currently the integration only synchronizes sales invoices from Moneybird to Twinfield.

Is this integration also suitable for synchronizing Moneybird invoices to Twinfield on a one-time basis?
Absolutely. Even if you don't use the integration on an ongoing basis, you can still use it for a one-time export. Please note that this is a paid feature. The cost is calculated based on the number of Moneybird invoices to be synchronized. You must first fully install the integration. TIP: Before running the full export, it is recommended to test the integration with a new invoice to ensure it works correctly. You can synchronize data for each quarter and up to a maximum of one full fiscal year.
